Su Wan, a young writer of historical intrigue stories, disguises herself to enter the Marquis of Jingyuan's mansion for story material, only to uncover the truth about Gu Zhao (played by Wan Yan Luorong), the marquis' son—who, known to the world as a "sickly young master," is actually investigating a corruption case in the court.
