Lin Xiaoman, a trainee purser, boards the "Haiyi" Cruise to find her missing sister, only to clash with Gu Ye, the icy first officer—she believes he's connected to her sister's disappearance, while he suspects she's a "spy" sent by the shipping company. When the cruise hits an iceberg at midnight, triggering flooding cabins and panicking passengers, the two are forced to team up: they must evade collapsing decks, calm the hysterical crowd, and decode her sister's encrypted journal before time runs out—revealing the "accident" is actually a deliberate cover-up for the company's shoddy construction! On the brink of death, can their past suspicion turn into trust? Will they escape the deep sea with the truth—and each other?
