Xiao Jingyu, Crown Prince of Great Liang, is so anxious he's losing hair—his ninth brother Xiao Jingheng, who's been idle for 20 years, suddenly became the capital's 'favorite': he won over commoners by eating corn buns on the field ridges during disaster relief, his peach blossom poems outshone the top scholar, and even the Emperor praised, 'Heng'er knows me best.' Convinced this is his brother's 'disguise to seize the throne,' the prince immediately launches his 'expose plan': he sends secret guards to tail him, but the guards get dead drunk on peach blossom wine and write *The Idle Prince's Peach Blossom Diary*, which goes viral; he orders the Ministry of Revenue to assign the hardest deficit task to the prince, but Xiao Jingheng turns the empty treasury into a community tea house and makes a fortune. Just as the crown prince is about to strike, the idle prince shows up with a peach branch: 'Brother, I talked to Father about the heir issue—I just want to stay in my peach villa forever.' Xiao Jingyu suddenly realizes: what he fears isn't his brother stealing the throne, but that his brother doesn't care at all—that 'indifference' is the real 'lifelong rival' that haunts him.
