Xu Ke, a retired jewelry designer, lives alone in the Moonlight Mansion, guarding the "Spring Lock" left by his late lover. Su Yihan, a clumsy antique restorer, breaks into the mansion to find her grandmother's heirloom—the same "Spring Lock"—and is forced to make a deal with Xu Ke: she repairs his old items, and he helps her find the lock. As they spend time together under the moonlight, Su Yihan discovers Xu Ke's obsession with the "Spring Lock" runs deeper than she thought, and she gradually falls for this man as cold as moonlight. When she uncovers the secret—that Xu Ke's late lover was her grandmother's old friend, and their encounter was fate's foreshadowing—how will she choose between her grandmother's wish and her own heart?
