The old alley is about to be demolished. Peng Yao, who runs a handmade dessert shop, reunites with Yang Pengcheng, her first love who vanished five years ago—now a Michelin-starred chef, he suddenly returns to rent the old shop next to hers. Is it rekindling old love or an ulterior motive? As sugar frosting floats in the steam of old soup, the truth about his sudden departure back then gradually unfolds. Can they, before the alley's fireworks fade, simmer the unsaid "I love you" into a final bowl of hot congee?
