Twenty-year-old tomb guardian Su Ye has guarded the Burial God's Coffin deep in the Qinling Mountains with his grandfather since childhood. Before passing away, Grandpa repeatedly warned him never to open the coffin, otherwise the ancient evil god sealed inside would wake up and trigger a disaster sweeping the world. Soon after, a well-equipped gang of tomb raiders broke into the cemetery, led by the son of their former family friend who betrayed the Su family and stole the family's secret tomb-keeping legacy years ago. Faced with dual pressures of carrying on the family's generations-old mission, old grudges and huge profit temptations, Su Ye must fight against the vicious tomb raiders, keep the secret amid the coffin's constant abnormal movements, and stop a terrifying disaster that could destroy the entire world.
