Su Xiaotang, a socially anxious cartoonist, and her sister Su Wan, a tough investment banker, are a pair of "contrasting twins". A last-minute favor leads them to accidentally swap lives—Xiaotang is forced to handle her sister's business negotiation with the icy client Gu Shiyan, while Wan has to fill in for Xiaotang at a comic con and runs into Lin Xingye, Xiaotang's die-hard fan and a soft-spoken cartoonist. As they struggle to hide their identities, they encounter "fated surprises": Gu Shiyan falls for Xiaotang's "clumsy sincerity", and Lin Xingye is drawn to Wan's "contrasting coolness". But with their identities on the verge of exposure, can they hold onto the budding romance in their "misplaced lives"?
