Qiu Jiaqi, leader of Qinggang Mountain bandits, kidnaps a passing "noble young master" Xue Jingyuan as a concubine to cheer up her terminally ill father. She thinks she's got a weakling to control, but this cold, indifferent man is actually the ascetic Crown Prince on an incognito investigation! On their wedding night, she holds a knife to force him to drink the nuptial wine while he stealthily reaches for the imperial edict at his waist; she steals his jade pendant to buy medicine, and he secretly resolves trouble at the clinic for her; when the bandit den is surrounded by officers, she expects him to accuse her, but he hands over his token: "Come with me—I'll protect you." A mistaken kidnapping—who does it unlock the heart of?
