Lin Shen (played by Chen Tianxiang), a surgeon, and Su Wan (played by Wang Xiaoyi), a mystery novelist, are seen as the "perfect couple" by others. Until Su Wan finds unwashed bloodstains in her husband's scalpel sheath and an anonymous letter in the drawer that says "The person from three years ago is back". When she secretly investigates her husband's connection to the missing person case, Lin Shen's tenderness gradually shows its fangs—he deliberately leaves clues to lure her into the trap, even adding hallucinogens to her coffee. Su Wan thinks she's uncovering the truth, but in reality, she's already fallen into the trap of her "bedside person": her novel exposed Lin Shen's murder secret hidden for three years, and this "investigation game" is just a "death script" customized by her husband for her.
