Lin Xiaoman, who suffered career setbacks and a breakup, picked up a freezing stray dog named A Wang on a rainy night. The two huddled together on the small sofa of the rental house, and A Wang became the "light" in Xiaoman's lowest point—waiting for her to get off work with her slippers in its mouth, rubbing her hand with its head when she cried. But on the day Xiaoman finally got a new job offer and was going to move to a new home with A Wang, A Wang suddenly ran away. She searched the whole city and finally found it under the osmanthus tree in her late grandmother's old yard—covered in mud, with a branch of osmanthus in its mouth. It turned out that Xiaoman had casually said "I miss grandma's osmanthus cake" the night before, and A Wang remembered it. The so-called faithful dog is just taking every "unimportant" word of yours as a "mission" to fulfill with a lifetime.
