Lin Xiaochuan, a hermit Chinese medicine apprentice, is sent by his master to inherit an old clinic in the city. But upon arrival, he faces forced demolition by real estate developers and slander from peers calling him a "fraud with unorthodox skills". When he's at his wit's end, seven senior sisters appear—The eldest, who masters both medicine and poison, scares off troublemakers with a prescription; the second, an acupuncture genius, cures a skeptic's chronic illness with three needles; even the gentle seventh sister uses medicinal food to make the real estate boss seek reconciliation. Just as Xiaochuan thinks the crisis is over, he overhears his sisters: "The master hid him back then to keep that thing from being found..." It turns out, what the sisters are guarding isn't just the clinic—it's a 20-year-old mystery about a lost Chinese medicine treasure?
