Professor Zhou, a rigid physics professor, is known as the campus's 'cold-faced problem-solver'—he shielded his careless assistant Su Xiaoman from boiling water, covered her late papers, and even kept a spare key for her. But no one knew this unshakable professor would stare at drafts in the middle of the night after a failed experiment and rejected paper. When Su saw this, she realized the man she relied on also needed comfort. So she launched her 'Comfort Zhou Plan': burnt porridge with notes saying 'Burnt smell is our ritual,' replaced his plants with succulents, and even held a sign saying 'Professor Zhou is the best.' When Zhou held the hot cocoa she gave him, seeing the words 'This time let me cover for you' on the cup, his eyes reddened—turns out the best relationship is understanding your strength and being willing to catch your softness.
