Su Wan marries Huo Jingshen, the "vegetative" CEO of the Huo Group, to pay off her father's huge debt. On their wedding night, she vents to her "comatose" husband, saying she's just a paid fake wife. Little does she know, Huo Jingshen has long woken up—he's pretending to be comatose to test this "gold-digging bride's" sincerity. Every act of kindness from Su Wan (blowing on his medicine spoon, secretly adding a blanket) is seen by Huo Jingshen. Gradually, Su Wan notices something's off: how can a "comatose" man put away her necklace? Until one day, she catches Huo Jingshen signing documents in the study—their disguise game collapses. Will this mutually testing marriage turn into a trap of true love?
