Forensic doctor Lin Wan takes on a series of unidentified corpse cases, only to find the "scorched marks" on the bones are identical to those on her sister who died five years ago. Mysterious businessman Lu Yan suddenly appears—helping her reconstruct crime scenes while deliberately getting close. Chen Mo, the detective who has protected her for years, repeatedly stops her from digging deeper. As the human trafficking ring behind the "scorched bones" emerges, Lin Wan discovers her sister’s "accidental death" was a murder. Lu Yan’s true identity is linked to the ring’s core, and even Chen Mo hides the secret of "her sister’s last call." How will three people bound by fate tear through the truth of "scorched bones" amid truth and lies?
