In a remote rural guesthouse, Lin Xiao, a country girl working odd jobs in the city, takes a shower during her lunch break. Suddenly, a several-meter-long giant snake slips into the tiny washroom through the broken window screen. The cold snake's tongue brushes her ankle, and Lin Xiao screams in horror. Ahao, the on-duty security guard, grabs a snake-proof stick and rushes over. He kicks open the door and confronts the snake. At the critical moment when the snake is about to pounce on Lin Xiao, he hits the snake's head accurately and drives it away, rescuing the frightened Lin Xiao. Their fates are quietly intertwined by this sudden crisis.
