Lin Xi, a young pharmacist determined to inherit traditional Chinese medicine culture, returns to her hometown to manage her grandfather's old pharmacy, accidentally catching a familiar herb fragrance in the overgrown mulberry garden. While digging into the secret, she bumps into Gu Yan, an architect coming for his family relics. They argue fiercely over the mulberry garden's ownership and herbs' origin, but during entanglement, they find a note left by Grandpa—the herb fragrance relates to two generations' fate. Misunderstandings are resolved, affection grows; they join hands to protect the old garden and herbs, harvesting love beyond misunderstandings.
