Lin Wan, an ordinary office worker, has been woken up by urgent knocks at 12 midnight for a week, but no one is there when she opens the door. Until she installs a monitor and captures her ex-boyfriend Lu Chuan—who died in a car accident saving her in a past life—standing at the door, covered in wounds. He says he’s back with memories of his rebirth, determined to uncover the truth about her being framed by her best friend and stalked by strangers years ago, and to win back her heart that’s closed off from fear of loss. Caught between the conspiracy behind the midnight knocks and the regained love, Lin Wan must find the courage to face both mystery and romance.
