Su Wan, a museum intern, accidentally touches the museum's treasure—the "Hidden Dragon Robe"—and awakens Mo Yuan, a tyrant who unified six kingdoms a thousand years ago but was betrayed by his trusted aides. With all memories lost, Mo Yuan only recognizes Su Wan (the one in the dragon robe) as his "master." However, remnants of the traitorous forces from his past track them down, determined to steal the robe and destroy his soul. Su Wan must hide Mo Yuan's ancient identity to navigate modern life while helping him recover his memories. Their bond shifts from "forced binding" to "mutual guardianship." When Mo Yuan recalls he was trapped for a millennium to save Su Wan's past life, a greater secret and crisis quietly looms.
