Lin Shen, a programmer as rational as code, is suspended for failing to create a 'warm AI'. He buys cola at the convenience store every day—not for the drink, but to see Gu Xiaotang, the girl who always gives him a 'lucky pull tab'. Gu Xiaotang, who collects a box of pull tabs, hides a childhood trauma of being abandoned by her parents and never dares to believe in lasting love. When Lin uses AI to turn her pull tabs into a 'memory library'—each holding customers' secrets and her little rambles—she's just about to surrender to this tenderness, only to stumble upon Lin's project documents: he needs to collect human emotional data, and she's his chosen 'sample'? Is she a test case in the algorithm, or does he truly have feelings? When the pull tab makes a crisp sound again, is their love a bug in the program, or a surprise from fate?
