The top research institute director, nicknamed 'Devil Grandpa' for his relentless scientific drive, accidentally transmigrates into Lin Xiaoman, a 5-year-old in a poverty-stricken 1960s village. Bound to him is a 'Future Research Lab' filled with improved seeds, small farm tools, and even simple medical gear—but who’d trust a toddler to save a village starving for food? Facing villagers’ skepticism, grain-stealing clashes with the next village, and his little aunt’s life-threatening illness from lack of money, Lin Xiaoman has to pass off the lab’s 'treasures' as 'miracles from the earth' using his 'childish innocence.' He coaxes his grandparents into secretly planting hybrid corn, saves his aunt with homemade penicillin, and slowly makes the village realize: This kid might just be the 'prosperity福星' (fortune star) sent by heaven to lead them to a better life.
