Lin Xiaoman, a "hedgehog" in the workplace, isolates herself with spines due to the trauma of being abandoned as a child. Gu Zhao, a retired e-sports legend, fears even touching others because of his psychological wounds. Forced to collaborate on a brand project, they start by pricking each other, then slowly soften for one another: Xiaoman leaves hot milk for Gu Zhao during his anxiety attacks, and Gu Zhao shields Xiaoman from difficult clients. When they finally dare to hug, they realize the little boy who gave Xiaoman candy in the orphanage years ago is Gu Zhao... Those sharp spines? They were all gentle waits for each other to pull out.
