The Underworld is in a massive financial deficit, so Yama Lu Wuwang is forced to descend to the mortal world to earn merit to save his realm! Disguised as a rookie trainee, he breaks into the entertainment industry—only to run into Su Xiaotang, a sharp-tongued screenwriter who just wrote a script about “Yama being so poor he sells Meng Po’s Soup.” The script makes Lu so angry he accidentally reveals his true identity! But instead of being scared, Su grabs him as her “Underworld consultant,” forcing him to spill阴间 secrets and even helping him design a “Underworld-style” variety show to gain流量 (traffic). On one side is the urgent task of earning enough money before Meng Po quits; on the other is the growing暧昧 (ambiguity) with Su. Lu suddenly doubts: what’s the point of being a high-and-mighty Yama when being with her, “making money and falling in love,” is so much more fun? But when he finally earns enough merit, dare he risk the entire Underworld to stay with her?
