Yet she still hides him, brews ginger tea for him, and watches the river full of lamp shadows with him. Until the night Gu Zhao regains his memory, the floating lamps on the Huaihe burn brightest. He raises his sword at her, only to see her palm still clutching the lukewarm tea—his sword tip trembles more violently than the flickering lamps...
