Lin Wan, a food delivery courier, runs around every day to afford her mother's sky-high medical bills. By chance, she delivers her homemade love fried rice to Gu Yanchen, CEO of the Gu Group. The familiar wok hei and salty aroma catch Gu Yanchen off guard—it's exactly the same as the fried rice made by the mysterious girl who saved his life years ago. But Lin Wan deliberately avoids him, hiding hatred and forbearance in her eyes. With each delivery encounter, their past misunderstandings and family tragedies gradually come to light, tying the two into an inseparable sadomasochistic entanglement through this bowl of nostalgic fried rice.
