Gu Fuxin, daughter of a Suzhou herbal shop, saves the gravely injured young marshal Jiang Shiyue by chance, and they fall in love during his recovery. However, the Gu family is framed for "colluding with enemies" and raided for refusing to supply illegal herbs to the Military Governor’s Mansion. Fuxin witnesses Jiang Shiyue leading soldiers to surround her home, convinced he’s the mastermind, and jumps into the river in despair—only to be rescued by a stranger. Three years later, Fuxin returns disguised as a "vengeful enchantress" to take revenge on Jiang Shiyue. But as she uncovers the truth, she learns Jiang Shiyue not only didn’t frame her family—he even turned against his father to protect her and secretly saved the remaining Gu members. Trapped between love and hate, can they resolve their misunderstanding?
