Lin Wan spent seven years as "Mrs. Gu," turning her youth into her husband's ironed shirts and their child's school district apartment—until she caught him kissing his secretary on their anniversary. Holding her college sketchbook, she cried until dawn, then tore up the divorce papers not out of compromise, but because she finally understood: she should be "Lin Wan" first, before anyone's wife. She rented a shabby studio in an old alley and picked up her paintbrush again, only to find herself caught between two men: her ex-husband Gu Chengchuan, who lingers at her door fixing pipes and begging for a second chance; and Zhou Mingyuan, the coffee shop owner across the street, who brings her hot cocoa when she paints late, smiling as he mentions, "I still have the sunset you painted in college." When old love tries to bind her and new tenderness revives the girl she used to be, Lin Wan finally realizes: what she's always wanted isn't "being loved," but the courage to love herself.
