The aloof saintess of the Taoist sect accidentally gains a permission to make a wish once a month. Initially, she prays for the prosperity of the Taoist sect, but is repeatedly disturbed by mysterious forces—every wish triggers tortured past entanglements with a celibate immortal. Torn between sect rules and her surging true feelings, she thinks the wishes can rewrite her fate, but gradually finds that the powerful counter-fate carries a fatal cost. Buried emotional wounds emerge with every wish, pushing her into a dual predicament of emotion and her Taoist heart.
