In a bustling modern city, ordinary office worker Chen is mocked by everyone for his obsession with holding an old piece of wood, which he believes holds ancient secrets; his girlfriend distances herself, and friends ridicule him relentlessly. One full-moon night, the 'worthless wood' absorbs moonlight and transforms into shimmering dragon scales, revealing Chen as the descendant of an ancient dragon god. Amidst a dramatic twist, he must harness the dragon scales' power to save the city from crisis while reclaiming lost love, facing jealousy and betrayal. This short series blends humor, suspense, and urban romance into an unexpected fantasy tale of faith and destiny.
