If Stars Fail to Ferry the Snow

Lin Chuxue, an astronomy blogger with ALS, embarks on a solo trip to Mount Everest to fulfill her final wish of seeing the starry sky there. Lu Xingyao, a world-class astrophotographer on the brink of blindness, travels to the snow-capped mountain to shoot his last series *Stars Ferrying Snow*. They meet at the base camp, hiding their terminal illnesses from each other and supporting each other as they climb toward the summit. But just as they’re about to reach the viewing platform, Chuxue’s condition suddenly worsens and she collapses in the snow, while Xingyao, struck by sudden blindness, can’t locate her — the light they fought so hard to reach becomes an uncrossed calamity in each other’s lives.
