He is a zombie with lingering human consciousness, who remembers the hiking trip he promised his human girlfriend. Despite his decaying body and fading strength, he sets off with an old backpack, just to secretly catch a glimpse of her—the girl he once loved deeply. She is still unaware of his abnormality. He fears exposing his identity and breaking her heart, and even more, he is afraid he won't last until the last second of seeing her. This "trip" is his final sacrifice for love, as well as a countdown of unspoken bittersweet romance.
