Li Chengchuan, a cold and sophisticated investment banker returning from abroad, is relentlessly pestered by Lin Xiaoman, a sweet naive girl who waves an old photo to "keep their childhood pinky promise". She becomes his unshakable "little tail"—fending off admirers for him, waiting for his homemade noodles, even finding his hidden childhood diary. Until one day, a faded photo slips from her backpack—little Lin with pigtails clings to little Li’s coat hem, and the tooth mark on his wrist from ten years ago perfectly matches the little girl’s in the photo. Turns out the "benefactor’s daughter" was a lie; she’s the one who saved him from the pond but lost her memory. What he thought was a "nuisance" is fate’s setup for their reunion.
