Cai Caiyun, a wandering healer, saved the exiled young prince Li Youlin in her childhood. They fell in love but were separated by royal power struggles—Li was recalled to the capital to inherit his title, while Cai was framed for colluding with enemies and had to go into hiding. Ten years later, Li, now a national general, is ordered to suppress a "rebellion" and unexpectedly meets Cai, who now runs a medical clinic in disguise. He thinks she has forgotten their past, but she hides the scar from a poisoned arrow she took for him back then. He wants to arrest her, but she seeks to uncover the truth about the old frame-up. When the "rebellion" accusation points to Li’s mentor, and when deep love clashes with justice, can they bridge the ten-year gap and reclaim the "longing from afar" they once shared?
