Lin Wan, a cultural relic restorer, has lived for a century clinging to the words "Waiting for You" on an ancient temple mural—she reincarnates every twenty years, but her memory is forever stuck on the promise she made with Gu Zhao, a frontier general. In their past life, he delayed his return to protect her, only to die in an accident, his soul trapped in a time rift. In this life, she meets Chen Mo, a photographer who looks exactly like Gu Zhao, who always dreams of a woman in cyan robes waiting for him at the city gate. But when Lin Wan takes out Gu Zhao's old letter, the mural starts to fade—the time rift is closing. If Chen Mo can't regain all his memories within seven days, he will disappear again, and Lin Wan will forget all about her wait. Can a thousand-year obsession beat the countdown of time?
