Su Wan was tricked by her stepsister Su Yao into breaking up with her boyfriend Lu Shiyan, believing Lu had cheated. But she soon uncovers the truth: Su Yao hired actors to fake the "date" with Lu and Photoshopped the cheating photos—all to steal Lu from her. Su Wan decides to turn the tables: she pretends to be a heartbroken dumped girlfriend, letting Su Yao brag about "soon taking over", while secretly gathering proof of Su Yao embezzling company funds and asking Lu to act out a "begging for reconciliation but getting rejected" scene. When Su Yao publicly taunts Su Wan with a "proposal ring from Lu", Lu suddenly presents the surveillance video of Su Yao's forgery, and Su Wan smiles as she hands over the financial bills: "Sister, I've played your game long enough."
