Shang Wanxing, an abandoned daughter of the Shang family, accidentally gets involved in a kidnapping incident but encounters Si Yubai's nephew, a powerful CEO, during the process. To survive, she calls Si Yubai and jokes halfway in a difficult situation: "Mr. Si, your son has been kidnapped by me~" This half-true and half-false joke mistakenly takes the nephew as the son, instantly turning this unexpected kidnapping into a ridiculous misunderstanding. When Si Yubai realizes that the other party is not a fierce kidnapper but reveals unusual intelligence and courage in her words, their fates begin to intertwine because of this mistake, and a high-energy game and emotional entanglement starting from the "kidnapping joke" kicks off.
