Lin Xiaoman, a modern emergency doctor, accidentally transmigrates into Tangtang, a 5-year-old cute kid in a 1960s mountain village. Her mother, a TCM doctor wrongfully labeled a "reactionary" and persecuted to death, left behind medical books and a herb shop that the village revolutionary committee is about to confiscate. With her chubby face, Tangtang secretly uses her past-life medical skills to save the village head's comatose mother, and uses childlike words to expose the slander against her mother: "Mom's medicine saved people!" While pretending to be naive to beg for candy, she quietly uses acupuncture and prescriptions to treat villagers, gradually changing their perception of her mother. She also tries to find the culprit who framed her mother, determined to guard the "legacy" her mother left with her life. The contrast of the cute kid, the heartwarming guardian plot, and the deep longing for her mother make every episode both sweet and touching!
