Childhood sweethearts Lin Yanyan and Gu Chen, who once vowed to conquer the skies together, reunite after a decade as strangers - he's now a decorated captain while she toils as an aircraft mechanic. When Gu Chen's flight encounters critical engine failure mid-air, Lin risks her life to fix it in the cargo hold. Amidst the chaos, a yellowed note flutters from her manual: "When my plane flies through a rainbow, I'll marry you." In the cockpit, Gu Chen stares at the mechanic's ID code on his radar and radios the tower: "Priority passenger to protect: AX307." As storm clouds gather, their forgotten promise becomes the only lifeline at 30,000 feet.
