Lin Xiaoman, a modern antique appraisal apprentice, accidentally touches a silver box engraved with Parisian emblems while organizing auction items and travels back to 1930s Paris—an era where Chinese antique shops are on the brink of collapse due to French merchant squeeze, Seine River stalls are full of fake scams, and even lost Yuanmingyuan cultural relics are being secretly traded. With the appraisal manual saved on her phone (no signal, but the pictures still work!), she helps a Chinese boss expose fakes and revives the dying "Tongshunju" antique shop. However, she gets entangled in the battle for the "Yuanmingyuan Jade Buddha": on one side is a mysterious Chinese-American young master who says, "I know you're a time traveler," and on the other is French merchant Dupont, who threatens her to forge the Jade Buddha. Lin Xiaoman panics: she just wanted to earn enough money to go home—how did she get into such a life-threatening mess? Can she survive, protect the Jade Buddha, and find her way back?
