Gu Xiaoman and Jiang Shiyan, who used to share green plums in the old alley as kids, lost touch after a misunderstanding. A decade later, Gu runs a popular alleyway dessert shop famous for her handmade green plum candies, while Jiang has returned from overseas as a cold, precise architect. When Jiang shows up at her shop holding the old glass jar they used to store plums, saying, “I’m here for the candy you owed me back then,” sealed memories come flooding back—he took the blame for her when the class plant was ruined, lying that he “found her annoying”; she thought he truly disliked her and moved away in tears. Reunited, they unlock their childhood promise of “opening a candy shop together when we grow up” through green plum candies, while resolving past misunderstandings and present obstacles. Turns out, the sweetest thing isn’t the green plum candy—it’s the taste of “you’re finally here with me.”
