Lin Zhou, a cold demon hunter dedicated to eradicating evil, encounters Su Wan—a noble girl possessed by Xiao Bai, a weak fox demon. Su Wan, once a beloved wealthy heiress, was framed by her stepmother and half-sister: they lured the fox to her to label her "possessed" and steal her inheritance. Xiao Bai, an innocent fox hunted by a wicked Taoist, possessed Su Wan to survive. Lin Zhou, initially wanting to exorcise Xiao Bai, is shocked by Su Wan’s injustice: her stepmother steals her fortune, her half-sister takes her fiancé, and both try to kill her. Torn between duty and mercy, Lin Zhou forms a "revenge alliance" with them: he’ll help Su Wan seek justice, Xiao Bai will help him uncover his family’s massacre truth. Together, they fight the stepmother’s schemes, the half-sister’s plots, and the Taoist’s pursuit. As revenge unfolds, Lin Zhou falls for Su Wan, Xiao Bai becomes Su Wan’s best friend—but a bigger villain, Lin Zhou’s former senior brother, is secretly plotting against them.
