Su Xiao helps him regain his passion in reality, but in the manga, she becomes a “replacement”: when she tries to rewrite Lin Shen’s regret, her heartbeat binds to the manga’s “disappearance rule”—to free him from his shadow, must she be “deleted” from his life forever?
