Lin Xiaoman, a three-year corporate nobody, finds her only comfort in the fragrant noodle at the Shaxian snack bar downstairs. One late night after overtime, she meets Su Wan, the ice-cold new CEO of her company, who collapses from low blood sugar. Lin instinctively hands over her noodles, and a flicker of shock crosses Su's eyes—right then, her phone pings: "Hetero Shock System Activated: Impress 100 people of the opposite sex, and you'll unlock life reversal privileges." From then on, Lin's ordinary life is turned upside down: she uses Shaxian's steamed dumplings to resolve her snarky colleague's work crisis, wontons to help her long-time crush move on from heartbreak, and even a bowl of peanut sauce noodle to help Su regain her初心 (original intention) when targeted by rivals… The cozy snack bar becomes the starting point of all "shocking moments." To her surprise, Su not only frequents the shop but also secretly collects her daily moments—turns out, that bowl of noodles that night had already made the CEO's heart "shocked" and fallen first.
