Modern ordinary girl Su Man accidentally activates the ancestral gold bracelet left by her grandmother, which unexpectedly connects her rental apartment to the frontier city besieged by the Jin army in the late Northern Song Dynasty. At that time, the frontier commander Shen Tingfeng was defending the city with remnant troops who had run out of grain and was about to die due to lack of reinforcements. To change the tragedy and save the general she had never met but exchanged letters with, Man packed modern compressed dry food, warm gear and emergency medicines from her home, and sent supplies across time through the bracelet again and again. Soon she found that the bracelet's time window was narrowing rapidly, and the general's fate seemed already fixed. Will she reverse the troubled times' fate with modern "small comforts" before time runs out, and hold onto this secret love spanning a thousand years?
