Feng shui master Chen Mo makes a living by using his compass to identify haunted houses and detect dangers, but he is forcibly "invited" by Lin Wan, the cold and stunning captain of the criminal police team, to be a consultant—recent serial murders all contain traces of feng shui formations: a tenant in a haunted house died violently while arranging a "life-threatening array", an antique shop owner was killed in his own "wealth-gathering formation".
