Lin Yang, a 30-year-old renovation contractor from Earth, is tricked into going to the Moon by a "space labor scam" and forced to take on the renovation of a lunar research base. He plans to slack off until the deadline and run away, but meets Su Xiao, a cold, science-obsessed researcher at the base—she thinks his "down-to-earth methods" are useless, and he mocks her for being a "nerd who doesn't know how to adapt." They bicker every day. But when lunar dust floods the unfinished module and building materials float everywhere due to low gravity, Lin Yang uses shoelaces to fix pipes and Earth-style "silly tricks" to solve problems that professional equipment couldn't. As the project nears completion, Lin Yang discovers the old professor who "tricked" him is actually trying to build a "home like Earth" for the orphaned kids on the Moon. Just then, a debt collector from Earth calls—will Lin Yang go back to pay his high-interest loans, or stay on the Moon to build an unbreakable dream for the kids?
