Lin Yang, a 30-year-old renovation contractor from Earth, is tricked into going to the Moon by a "space labor scam" and forced to take on the renovation of a lunar research base. He plans to slack off until the deadline and run away, but meets Su Xiao, a cold, science-obsessed researcher at the base—she thinks his "down-to-earth methods" are useless, and he mocks her for being a "nerd who doesn't know how to adapt." They bicker every day.
