Fresh graduate Lin Mo, with nowhere to turn, took over his grandfather's nearly bankrupt old Taoist temple that could barely cover rent. He scraped by with sparse incense offerings until he accidentally activated the hidden "Wish Power System" in the temple. Every time he helped a pilgrim solve a worry—such as a schoolgirl's academic crisis or a couple's marital conflict—he gained wish power to cultivate immortal arts. The onlookers then realized that the "fake sorcery" in the temple was real immortal cultivation, causing an uproar and turning his life upside down.
