Lin Qing, a young Taoist from Longhu Mountain, goes down the mountain to fulfill his master's order of "experiencing the mortal world" and accidentally becomes the bodyguard of Su Wan, a wealthy heiress. Su Wan is targeted by various forces over the family inheritance, and Lin Qing resolves multiple crises with just one "safety talisman"—stopping a luxury car crash, breaking a deadly voodoo spell, solving a business scam, and even helping Su Wan find her missing mother. As they spend time together, Su Wan secretly falls for this "rustic yet mysterious" Taoist, while Lin Qing, due to a past fate, is pursued by a noble lady, a popular actress, and even a gang leader's sister. Caught between the responsibility of protection and endless romantic advances, how will Lin Qing keep his true heart amid the whirlpool of the noble family?
