At 20, Lin Shen's parents were murdered at home, and he was wrongfully imprisoned for ten years due to forged evidence. In prison, he learned the essence of Qianmen (the art of deception) from Third Master, a retired Qianmen master. After release, Lin Shen discovers his parents' death is linked to a local real estate group—they framed his family to seize their land. To uncover the truth, he reunites with friends to form the "Eight Generals of Qianmen," using Qianmen techniques to outmaneuver the group. But when he gets close to the truth, he finds Third Master was once a group consultant and might have participated in the murder. Is his master a benefactor or an enemy? The fog of truth awaits him to dispel.
