Following her mother's last wish, Lin Wan leaves the mountains and returns to the capital to reclaim Tianxian Lou (Heavenly Fairy Inn)—her mother's legacy seized by her father. There, she encounters Gu Tingchuan, the current owner of Tianxian Lou and her former "sharp-tongued arch-nemesis" from years ago. From constant bickering to secretly falling in love, their budding romance is thrown into turmoil when Lin Wan uncovers the truth: her father favored his concubine over her mother, leading to her mother's death. To her shock, she learns Gu Tingchuan is the orphan her mother saved years ago?! On her stepsister Jiang Chang'an's wedding day, Lin Wan prepares to expose her father's crimes with her mother's will, but Gu Tingchuan suddenly appears with a crucial document, offering to help her reclaim Tianxian Lou—on the condition that she abandons her revenge. Torn between her mother's wish and the man she loves, what choice will Lin Wan make? And can their love survive the whirlwind of inheritance disputes and revenge?
