A down-and-out chef named Zhou Wenshan rescues Sofia, a mysterious woman, on a snowy night. Sofia fled her family because she couldn't bear the forced marriage arranged by her clan. The kind-hearted Wenshan takes her in. They fight together against bullies coveting Sofia's family fortune, then go to Russia. At an upscale aristocratic banquet, they expose the underhanded power-for-money conspiracy behind the marriage, tear up the unfair contract, stage a wonderful counterattack, break the shackles of aristocratic power and gain their own courage and love.
